Legal and commercial guarantee
Commercial guarantee
Butterfly is very specific in its after-sales service and is committed to listening to its customers' requests. Depending on the brand, warranty periods and repair possibilities are different but everything will be done to satisfy you.
The commercial guarantee is not obligatory: it can be issued by the final seller or by the manufacturer.
Legal guarantee
The legal guarantee is 2 years and applies to any lack of conformity of the goods you have purchased, that is to say when:
- the characteristics of your purchase do not correspond to those of the model presented (eg: you ordered blue pants but received them in red);
- the quality and services do not meet the expectations you had and that the seller or manufacturer raised (eg: you bought a cashmere sweater but it turns out to be polyester);
- you cannot use the product for the normally intended use or for the specific functions that you requested and that the seller had accepted (eg: you purchased a steamer that does not steam).
If you encounter a problem with your product, please report it as soon as possible so that it can be remedied just as quickly.
If the defect appears 6 months after purchase, you must prove that it was present from the start and therefore that it is a manufacturing defect.
If the repair or exchange cannot be carried out without major inconvenience for you or if this proves impossible within a reasonable time, you can demand a refund of your purchase or a price reduction.
